Econnect to Address IWEA Conference

Rory Mullan is to address the Irish Wind Energy Association's delegation at their autumn conference in September.

Rory, who heads up Econnect's Irish business, will discuss the policy options for the constraint and curtailment of wind energy on the Irish system.

Constraint and curtailment is rapidly becoming a greater issue for generators, as the level of wind penetration on the Irish system reaches towards the new government 2020 targets.

Rory and his team are also due to exhibit at the IWEA conference, allowing delegates the opportunity to visit the company’s stand for further information on Econnect’s skills and experience. Econnect’s construction team is also due to exhibit at the conference.
