First Blades Turn at Minsca

Blades are now turning at Minsca wind farm, near Lockerbie in Scotland, following the energisation of the first of the 16 onshore wind turbines.

Generation commenced from the turbine at 13:00 on Saturday 26th January, with the remaining 15 x 2.3MW Siemens turbines expected to be energised by Econnect over the next two weeks.

Work at the site currently includes a dedicated team of 25 personnel.
