Staff Wear it Pink for Breast Cancer Campaign
Econnect’s UK staff turned out in pink today in support of Breast Cancer Campaign’s ‘Wear it Pink Day’.
Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in the UK and one woman in nine will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
For a donation of £2 everyone was asked to wear something pink, which translated into staff wearing pink t-shirts, ties, feather boas - and organiser Lorraine Dickinson going the extra mile by sporting a very noticeable pink wig!
Money raised from today will go towards Breast Cancer Campaign’s ongoing research into breast cancer, which has so far raised a staggering £6.6million.
