Econnect undertook the design, supply and construction of the Electrical works for Dummuies windfarm including provision of our Hybrid Static Compensation Package.
Key Achievements:
The provision of the Hybrid Statcom equipment to allow Grid Code Compliance. This equipment allowed this previously unviable project to go ahead as the turbines themselves were unable to operate between the voltage guidelines required in the Grid Code. The static compensation equipment allows voltage control of the wind farm and thus meet the requirements of the Grid Code.
